“Not far from Fatebenefratelli
Down in Four Winds street
Is the Magician - mechanic’s shop
Where the western walls meet.
Though the shop is always closed
The shop window cannot hide
The various strange facilities,
The mixed metal parts inside,
The oh so secret instruments
with machines, dolls, and boxes
With clockwork wound street organs
Singing dogs, pigs and foxes (…)”.

One night a mysterious hedgehog, conjured into steel armour, runs away from the magician - mechanic’s shop. It leaves the city in a panic and rushes onward looking for help. It dreams of getting rid of the heavy armour in which it is trapped. A dark forest, full of malicious demons and monsters, a meeting with the wizard Babulej, mercury ponds and a battle with tritons, an attack of moths and bats are only some of surprises awaiting our character. “Magician - mechanic’s shop” is an exquisite tale, full of magic and enchanted characters, far from the literal and completely unreal. The story is told by two actors, not only with words, but primarily with movement, dance, music, images and symbols.  It is a tale with a happy ending, with a beautiful knight and a fair-haired girl, who live together happily ever after…
